Modified Human Last name Maddison (PBTD 03/5) College age (went out drinking, but helped Trevor with his Chem lab stuff) After coven initiation, was "blessed" with demon in her head, named Quimmelesquence. Too much to handle, so Katie just called her Pandora, who welcomed her to the World of the Damned with "Hold on tight!"

Her name was Katie, but she didn’t feel like that girl anymore. She didn’t feel like ‘Katie,’ the easygoing and motivated college girl. She had changed, mostly because she had a demon inside of her, but also because everything seemed to be moving in a completely new direction. But, fuck Pandora! She wasn’t changing her name just because she had an unwanted roomie.

Katie meets more team mates, and they start to practice.

Katie and Pandora:The jokes she could ignore, the snide comments about humans she could ignore, but she was losing her mind dealing with Pandora’s sexual proclivities. She was disgusting, and the idea of sharing her body with someone like that made the revulsion that much worse. She wanted to just shut her out of her brain.

After her first battle with the demons, her attitude towards the world changed. She no longer thought of the world as a safe haven; a place where people fulfilled their dreams, lived their lives, and died old and happy. To her it was now a battleground—a place where the dark corners, locked closets, and shadowed undersides of beds were truly places to be feared. The boogeyman might not be exactly what she had thought when she was as a kid, but he existed. There were thousands—more than that, really—lurking and looking for their next victim. If the demons could walk freely it would be one thing. You could face your enemy, recognize him. But this was silent, hidden beneath the faces that you looked at every day. No one was off-limits to these creatures, and the ending for most would be death. If God were real, this was how she imagined the apocalypse beginning, and now she was part of a group hellbent on doing everything they could to stop it. Perhaps it was futile, and maybe it was naïve to think she could change a fucking thing. She had seen those demons in action and she wouldn’t just stand by and let it happen to people like Garrett or Calvin. People with lives. People with love in their hearts.That was the moment Katie decided to become a killer.

The team talks about Pandora and Katie, and were worried, as Pandora in the wrong hands would be super- powerful. Katie, too, knew she had a connection with Pandora that was different than the others had with their demons, but she wasn’t dumb. She had to careful. Pandora might be helping her stay alive and in one piece at the moment, but she was still a demon and they couldn’t distinguish between right and wrong. They were hell on earth, and Pandora was stronger than the rest. Katie knew that when the time called for it, she would be able to unleash those powers hidden deep inside of her with the help of Pandora. And if Pandora betrayed her? Katie would simply end them both.

Katie's body heals at three times the normal rate, so training easier for her than for others. No longer has a menstrual period. Pandora saw to that, because of unstable emotions during that period. PBTD 05/1 Pandora eliminates all body hair growth, so that Katie doesn't have to be bothered. PBTD 06/15 Pandora adds night vision to her body's capabilities. Katie’s eyes sparkled brightly, and she could see in the dark. It was like wearing night vision, only everything had a red tint—and she could see perfectly. Every day, and almost every way she is trying to learn.

Researching in the library now. She had just found some information on the 72.She and Pandora had discussed the different levels of demons, and she wanted to get a good grasp on what was in the library before she started talking about it She had even made Damian change his way of thinking about some demon lore. Part of why she was doing all this studying was to learn, but the other part was for appearances. She needed to prove that some of the information Pandora was providing—the stuff she really shouldn’t know—was in the library. For some the transition to Damned, especially when put on a team immediately, was a time of personal reflection. For others it was about spiritual growth, or even deep depression. For Katie it was a time to expand her mind, get better at her craft, and attempt to make the world a safer place.She still had no idea why Pandora had become an ally or what her secret motive was, but she wasn’t going to dwell on it. She kept her guard up, and had prepped herself for the moment Pandora began to turn. In the meantime, she used every bit of strength and knowledge the demon provided her—they were essential to her success. She wanted to be in a place where she no longer had to rely on Pandora, just in case she found herself fighting her for control of her body and mind.

Katie's nickname: The Damned Queen. That’s just what we call you: the Damned Queen.” Derek smiled. “You can kick anyone and anything’s ass.” “Not anything.”“One day it will be anything.You will get there. Just you watch and see.”“And when I do, we will all be out of a job.” “Nah. As long as there is a Satan we will have a job, Lucifer!" “Then I guess I have bigger fish to fry.” “That would be the ultimate bad-guy showdown.” He chuckled and mimicked putting a microphone up to his mouth. “Katie versus Lucifer, LIVE at Wrigley Field!”

Katie as an empath. Katie consults Damian on how Garrett had affected her the night before. When we become Damned, our senses heighten,” he finally replied. “It seems you have gained the Empath gift. You feel what others are feeling, and almost pull it from them. You attract pain, happiness, sadness, and any other emotion they’re feeling. I’ve only met one other person like you, and it was hard on him—especially in this world.” He gave a small smile. “Made an excellent tracking device for demons, though.”“You’ll learn how to handle it,” he told her. “You’ll eventually be able to block it when you choose to do so.”

Katie, watching Korbin and Stephanie on the dance floor at Torn Asunder, has begun to want to be wanted, and she wanted to want someone back. It wasn’t just about sex for her. It was about having someone there. Someone to laugh with, cry with, get angry at, and all the other things that happen when you enter into a relationship with someone, to maybe have a guy for something other than a brother.

Once again, she felt as if she were alone on an island because of her demon, because she cannot divulge her strengths to either her own team, or to the other teams. Must still keep hidden. PBTD 06/21 Katie meets Noah Rappley at Torn Asunder, is relaxed, likes him, invites him to go four-wheeling with her. They have a good time both on four wheels, Katie driving, and in the back of the truck. First time in the series Katie has bedded anyone. PBTD 07/23 First time Katie allows Pandora to take over her body, and actively fight in battles. Pandora changes her body - hips bigger, boobs bigger, stronger, a little taller. HOTTER ! Makes Damian want to hump her! Katie not aware of activities afterwards. Tells team, and they like it that she has confided in them. Katie, ibn later episodes, is in the background when Pandora takes over, and is fully cognizant of all events

Pandora has finally told Katie about her ancestry, and seems as if she might have an angel in there somewhere, which is what allowed them to relate to each other so well. “Well, it seems that a few thousand years ago there was a large battle, and supposedly the last of my kind were destroyed. Apparently, someone got their history fucked up though because the demons hadn’t killed all of the Nephilim.” Pandora had finally gotten around to filling her in earlier that day. Damian put his hand on Katie’s shoulder. “I guess we get to change your call sign to ‘Angel 1’ then, don’t we?” “Seems that Pandora thinks that somewhere in my genealogy I might have an angel as an ancestor. She says that explains why she is able to connect with me.”It would be just like that sanctimonious windbag up there in heaven to have planned something like this, Pandora commented. “I take it Lilith wants to say something? Katie smirked. “She says hello, and she’s happy to see you again.”“My dear,” he chided, chuckling, “you lie just as well as she does.”

Katie and flying. Katie chuckled to herself and sat back. She gripped the arms of the chair as the plane touched down on the runway. She could jump off a building with ease and take on demons a hundred times her size with no problem whatsoever, but her stomach still tied itself in anxious knots every time the plane either took off or landed.
