This character was introduced in book two, Killing is my business, as Mamacita, the Madame of the brothel Damian took Katie to, to help her understand spirits. As Mamacita, she has fulfilled various roles in the books since then, only now, in book 4, revealing her true name and background. On the roof, after the Base battle, Korbin noticed that she had changed, that she was no longer dressed in a suit or wearing robes in the brothel. She was just wearing normal clothes. Her hair was straight and pulled back at the nape of her neck, not up and wild like she usually wore it. It was refreshing to see her that way—just a regular woman for once.

In the course of the conversation, she tells them that her name is Stephanie Lee. “I had mixed parents. My mom is Hispanic,which is where I get my dark skin and dark hair. It’s also where I get my damn temper.My dad, he was calm, and always about the body and his martial arts. “I didn’t learn to fight overnight,” she told him, picking up a stone and looking down at her hands. “I trained in martial arts until my early twenties. That was when I ran from the cult, and please make no mistake about it—it was a damned cult.”Is that how you ended up at the house? "Sort of ...

“I am the niece of the original owner of the house, and I worked really hard to make it a place where girls could go when they didn’t feel like they belonged or didn’t have a family to help support them. I wanted to give girls another option than just going into an empty marriage, being homeless, or joining a gang. Perhaps my option was not that great. Maybe it was immoral or a bad choice, but it was all I knew. When I was out on my own, sex was how I stayed alive. It paid for my food every night, and a hotel room most nights. Over time, it became a business; something I could rely on, get an apartment with. Then I took over the house, and that was when I realized I had the opportunity to help other women. So I did.”

“And how do you feel about it now?” Korbin asked.

She chuckled and shook her head. “Now that I see the reality of the world, I can’t go back to that. Actually, it’s more like I won’t go back. My life has been a beautiful thing since I met you guys, from Armani originally to these business opportunities to watching the girls grow and forming friendships. I learned about the world in a way I never thought I would, and I cannot just walk away from that.” She really wants to stay with Korbin's Killers, Joshua and the new company. Katie asks her, “Are you really determined to fight?”She nodded her head

Stephanie Lee chooses to be infected.

Katie met with Stephanie the next day, re-affirmed that she wanted to be infected and to stay with the Killers, and sent her a succubus, to be her demon.

Katie then took her back to the base, to her new life.

Korbin and Stephanie Lee are living the life they had envisioned. Katie had pulled their demons out, and Damian had arranged that they would have their farm, and happiness. And Katie and Pandora made a vow.

Katie pulled her hood over her head, sending her love to Korbin and Stephanie one last time even if they didn’t know who she was anymore. “I promise I will fucking kill every last demon in hell if it’s what I have to do to keep you two together.”

Pandora voice rumbled from Katie’s throat. “So it is spoken, so shall it be...”

WOTD 04/7

Calvin wants to approach Korbin and Stephanie Lee to be with Sofia in San Diego, to protect her from the Mexican drug cartels. he goes to them, explains what had happened to them, and asks their help. They agree to help, come to San Diego, meet with Katie, Calvin, etc., and have no memories of it of any kind. But they are happy to help, and a suspition is left that they might be in future events.

WOTD 05/17 Korbin and Stephanie Lee come back to the base, fight withg the team when it is invaded by demons, and agree to be re-infected, so that they might better and more safely participate in the team's activities. Stephanie ZLee takes a demon, a female, named Duri. Korbin takes a male named Vol. Katie needs to work to get their memories back and she does.

WOTD0 5/18 Stephanie Lee gets her entire memory back, and Katie and she set up Korbin to do so, as well.

WOTD 06/5 Both have their memories back, and are working into being mercs again, liking being back.

WOTD 08/06 Korbin had worried that the long absence from the Base had dampened her feminist spark. She has bugun to again act a little more independent, and she tells him that "it means that as a woman I can do anything I damn well please without judgment or control, penis or no penis. If I want to be a gardener and housewife, I’m empowered to do so. If I want to run out into a sea of demons and rip their ‘nads from their bodies before slicing them in two, I’m empowered to do that, too.” She was empowered to do as she wished - her choice.
