War of the Damned

The War of the DAMNED is coming to a close. And Moloch has been tasked with winning by Lucifer. Juntto is in frozen storage as Katie and her team try to figure out if he can be saved, and if so, how? With the war heating up and other demons getting into the action to garner acclaim, the DAMNED have their work cut out for them. In the end, Moloch stops trying to get others to do the hard work and takes Katie on himself. Can she and Pandora beat the Archdemon?

WOTD 08/01 THE MEETING Moloch sat in Lucifer’s palace, awaiting an audience. (See Locations, Lucifer’s Palace) He was called in, and hobbled towards the throne, prostrating himself as best he could. Lucifer was displeased, and tapped his fingers to let Moloch know that. Moloch arose and waited. Lucifer rose, dismissed Mania and a female human, and approached Moloch, pouring himself himself three fingers of whiskey, and asked Moloch to review what had been going on with all of the incursions. Moloch did so, from the beginning, starting with T’Chezz, and blaming Lilith for their failures. (Lucifer felt like he wanted to crush her like a bug, for leaving him). Moloch also told him about Katie, a part-angel, who had bonded closely with Lilith, and that they seemed to be good friends. Moloch told him how they had come to Hell, with drones and weapons, and had blown him up, putting him in the condition that Lucifer now perceived. She usually controls the human, but I’ve seen her exit her human and the two of them fight side by side—although when they separate they don’t seem to be quite as powerful. “ Lucifer decided that Lilith had had enough time being free and playing, and that now she would learn what it means to be married to him and disobey him. “ Now it’s time for her to pay for what she’s done. She’s blown your leg off, and your arm is barely attached. She has taken your dignity from you in one fell swoop.” He healed Moloch, then towered 50 feet tall over him, and ripped him apart and re-assembled him numerous times, Moloch screaming all of the while. He continued beating the living shit out of him. He returned to his throne. “I’m not going to continue because I know everything. I’ve known from the beginning. You didn’t start this war, and that is the only reason I’m letting you out of here today. Otherwise, you’d have been chained in the torture chamber until I grew tired of you. Nonetheless, you continued it, and you’re now responsible for cleaning it up. I want Lilith. You’re going to bring her to me. As far as the angel goes, kill her and be done with it. And if you fail, Little demons would tell each other the horrible true story of the Tragedy of Moloch. In the end, your soul would be lost for eternity.”

WOTD 08/02 Katie and Pandora, on a rooftop somewhere, discuss Juntto’s state of being. . By human standards, Juntto is dead, but he isn’t really. Leviathans can die like humans, but that wasn’t what happened here. A coma?. Or it might be like locked-in syndrome or something. Either way, the big blue bastard is currently checked the fuck out, and we have to figure out how to bring him back. He did it to himself. We have a Leviathan in a walk-in freezer, and for all we know, the cold and lack of food could literally be draining what little life he has left in his body. They needed to move his body to a safe location (currently in a butcher’s freezer), but where? He was huge, and the government was definitely not set up for something like that. Katie decides to ask Gabriel what to do to reanimate him. He showed up, and Pandora stepped out of Katie’s body to confront him, raging about all of his answers in riddle form. And Pandora had assumed a human body, tail-less and perfect. Gabriel answered with a riddle, of course. “What does the power-bunny need?” And he left. Pandora re-entered Katie’s body, and went to sleep. Very exhausting, being outside the body! And Katie flew back to the condo.

WOTD 08/03 BAAL MEETS WITH BEELZEBUB Baal doesn’t trust Beelzebub (A trustworthy demon is an oxymoron), yet must meet with him to help with the crisis. He had overstepped throughout history, but until a few centuries ago no one, not even Lucifer, had stood up to him. Beelzebub was a smooth talker. (See Beelzebub) Beelzebub had written to Baal, suggesting a solution to the problem. Baal had considered it a monstrosity of an idea, which, if carried out, would pique His interest. Baal warns him that if he tries to interfere he will get himself in deep hell. Beelzebub responds that the two of them are so clueless that “You don’t know which way your dicks are swinging, much less how to lead a charge.” Beelzebub was interested in coming out of exile. “Those who respond to the human threat appropriately will have a chance to move up. You do know I was never relieved of my chair.” Baal balled his fists. “Do I need to remind you that you got kicked off the table centuries ago for your last act of stupidity?” “If Lucifer didn’t want me to step in at times, he would have killed me like he did the others. That, or buried me deep within the rings of hell. Instead, he put me here with the freedom to come and go as I please. It has been centuries since I was removed, but I assure you, the lord of hell still pleads for my advice.” They continue to trade insults, and Bal leaves, but Beelzebub thinks, “You will come back, and if you don’t, I’ll make sure you never have a position again.”

WOTD 08/04 Angie and Katie talk about Juntto, and how they needed him back. Katie is going off to investigate how that might be done, and what kind of a jolt he might need. She’ll be going to the old countries, to discover what knowledge there might still exist to help, and she didn’t know what to look for.“ It could be anything from a golden dildo to a serum we have to put into him.” Angie offers Katie her memory of the matter. He was struggling to keep you awake and alive, then he just laid down, and that was the end of it. He couldn’t keep himself awake.” Katie punished packing, and flew off to the airport.

BEELZEBUB ON EARTH At the new base, a portal tore open at the top of and water tower, off the base, and a huge, twisted creature came through, squinting. Beelzebub had forgotten how bright the planet was. He saw the Base in the distance, and remembered his plan for it. He hears the sirens and alarm message that a portal had opened. He smiled, promised to be back, and went back into Hell, closing the portal behind him. Korbin received the report from the scouting crew (tower melted, lots of heat, heard the sirens and left), and was upset. They’d notify Katie, so she could be there, as the Base still had a long way to go to be ready for another fight like the last one. Everyone dropped their everyday duties, and worked on being prepared. Korbin called Katie (no answer, left a message), and then talked to Brushwood, alerting him to the situation.. Brushwood could and would give him world-wide satellite access, to address images for information. He thinks they’ll attack, and soon.

WOTD 08/05 KATIE IS NOTIFIED Angie wants to have all prepared for when Juntto comes back, but stops in front of his door, not being able to go in right away. She didn’t know why she did it. She didn’t know what it was about the apartment that stopped her in her tracks day after day, b6ut there she was. She went in, put some things on a shelf, and heard Katie’s phone ring. It was Brushwood, trying to get to Katie to tell her of the opening portal at the base. After much discussion about Katie’s right to have a life, without her phone if she wanted, Angie said she would tell her when Katie contacted her. Timothy, also, called her to check in. They all knew that she loved Juntto, and missed him.

WOTD 08/06 BATTLE AT THE BASE Korbin readies the base. Ammo in the basement, ready to deploy. Korbin feels the surge of demons coming for them, and he’s worried. That’s why Katie had brought him back, as she couldn’t be everywhere. As he clicked off, he saw a shimmering in the air, and realized it was a portal opening, right over them, in the sky. Stephanie was outside of the building, and as the portal split wide open above her, all she could see was eternal darkness. The Base moved into action, the alarm blaring, soldiers took positions, Timothy rushed to his room to handle all controls and communications, and the retractable cage slammed down over the armory. There was a sound like thunder, and demons began falling from the portal above them. The demons scaled down the main building, a grotesque horde that came running across the base toward the group. They all fought. The platoon sent out by Brushwood drove in, and Korbin asked if they had anything to blast into the portal, to close it. Yes, and they brought up a rocket launcher, the second and third shots going straight in. The portal began to shudder, and with a loud snap, the portal shut. Many of the defenders were seriously injured, and many had given their very lives. It had been a success, though. They’d defended their ground.

KATIE AND PANDORA ON THEIR SEARCH Katie, in Italy, at a museum, went down into the archives in the basement. A mess. Where might they find a good Library? At the Vatican! And they went there.

WOTD 08/07 Katie was personally taken to the Archives by the Pope, who gave her much of Pandora’s history (See Characters, Lilith) “She was the queen of the demons long before Lucifer took her to wife. We Catholics know she fought beside our trusted warriors in the Holy Wars.” . “Although she is demonic, I appreciate the good she has done for our people and many others across the world.” And they went down into the archives. There was a whole staff of priests to help her, searching for an artifact )a type of battery_), that would re-awaken Juntto. They were mostly looking for a physical one, until the Pope spoke of an emotional jolt. “What if it’s simply the energy of emotions? It may sound strange, but emotions are fluid in every living being. Whatever happened to him, he might need a specific emotion to wake up.” What was he doing during the battle? “He was feeling empathy. Compassion. Things I couldn’t remember seeing in him before that day.” “Fascinating. I wonder if the new emotions caused him to shut down? Especially if those weren’t emotions typical to his kind. That can be off-putting, even traumatic for some. Those emotions were not known to him, correct? Even as children, the beings on his planet don’t know those emotions. If I read the situation correctly, his people are almost totally devoid of human emotions. He learned anger and fear from humans but not empathy or compassion. Until, because of you, he did. It might have been a big enough shock to his system to cause him to shut down. He may still be processing those new emotions.” The best ideas yet! After they had dfiscussed this, and Katie was satisfied that she had a goo dead into Juntto’s situation, the Pop asked her to ask Lilith some questions about the past. Lilith unhappily complied.

WOTD 08/08 As they flew, Pandora and Katie discussed the emotional possibilities inherent in Juntto’s condition. And decided he was more of a diva than Timothy. They had noticed the acclaim as they took off, and Katie thought that they might put up a statue to her, in St. Peter’s Square, where people could lay roses at her stone feet, and Pandora bet her that they wouldn’t include all of her physical attributes. After all, Lusting after a statue might get you taken down.

BAAL'S SEARCH In the Greek Hill, Baal searches for books and tomes on demon history, and found boxes and boxes of them in the third building he searched. Not only was there a plethora of very important historical accounts of human history there, but there were things valuable to the demons as well. . In one of the middle boxes, he found an old scroll with the broken seal of Lucifer. The paper was singed on the edges, which was a good sign. If it was what Baal was looking for, the scroll was from one of the very few times Lucifer had actually walked the Earth. He carefully unrolled it and read the contents. When he was finished, he rolled it back up and clutched it to his chest. Baal had never been one to explore history, but recently he had become an avid student. He had a feeling that the contents of that specific scroll were going to become vital to his survival. Beelzebub had been right about one thing. The whole world operated on the premise that they had to be better if they were going to survive. He went back to Moloch’s castle. Moloch came in and told Baal all about Lucifer’s edict- kill Katie and bring Lilith back, or else. Baal might have just the way to do that!

A group of soldiers, investigating the report of another portal opening in the Greek Hills, found the old castle, and Baal’s search for a specific document. They didn’t know what it might have been, but would protect the books and scrolls until special Librarians came in to preserve them, and possibly find out exactly what had been taken.

WOTD 08/9 Katie returns home, and Angie tells her about the incursion at the base, that Korbin, Stephanie, Joshua and Calvin had been injured. Korbin tells her of the demons dropping from the sky this time, a new tactic. Calvin suggests adding anti-aircraft guns to their weaponry, and Korbin wants to move the entire base below grounds, so it’s not a subject to attack.

Timothy is arguing with his demon, as it wants him to get laid by a female. But Timothy is gay, so guess they’ll both be chaste until the end of time! Corbin and Stephanie were kidding him, and they decided that he needed a new set of metal claws, so that he didn’t ruin his manicures, so he went off to see Joshua about making them for him.

Beelzebub meets with a lava specialist, in Hell, to discuss the behavior of that fluid on Earth. He is anticipating allowing it to flow into and destroy some towns.

WOTD 08/10 KATIE IN THERAPY Katie and Pandora go on a therapeutic night out, wearing a new cape. Save a black woman in and alley (pulled demons from three thugs), stopped a robbery in a jewelry store (just a normal asshole), and rescued six caged prostitutes from their captor, calling Schultz in to make the arrest. Katie comes home to Brock, and they have an energetic night of it.

WOTD 08/11 THE ROMANIAN ATTACK STARTS A myriad of portals opens in the Carpathian Mountains, above the town of Sighișoara, a tourist town. A young boy, playing on the outskirts of the town, sees them, and runs in, giving the alert. Katie awoke to find Brock suiting up, on his way to the attack in Romania. Katie and Pandora joust verbally, as Katie straightens the apartment, and Angie listens to Katie’s side of the conversation, wide-eyed! Katie and Angie decide to go to the Base, to try out a few things with Juntto concerning emotional jolts. Brushwood thinks she is not needed in Romania.

WOTD 08/12 Brock and team arrive in Romania, and find a whole new ball game. Demons assuming false disguises, so you never know who you are killing. They take some survivors to a church, meet an American priest who had come there to protect that church. He and his nuns would help the survivors.

Baal sat in his living area, examining the old scroll he had taken from the castle. Belphegor, Lucifer’s lawyer, was there to review what’s going on with the humans. Our Lord Prince is a bit perturbed, to say the least. Moloch started all this shit by encouraging T’Chezz. He had a plan for getting rid of Lilith, thinking it would please Lucifer. It seems he underestimated her and the skinbag that she wears. She ended up changing sides to help the humans and the angels. During what the humans call ‘Incursion Day’ she chopped T’Chezz’s head off, and we have no idea what happened to him after that. We’re assuming, with her history and her human’s, that he is dead. Something about her being part-angel. She’s the one who has been leading the charge in hell. Doesn’t even have to wear one of those nifty protection suits the humans made to walk around down here. You should talk to Moloch. He has the first-person account of everything. I was just in the background making sure he didn’t get hell blown up or anything.” “Most of the demons this human and Lilith kill actually end up dying completely. Gone forever. I’m not even sure if they realize that yet.” “And Beelzebub is planning something. He’s determined to take over this fight and regain his seat at the table. He has done it repeatedly throughout time. You should find Beelzebub and give him a true warning, right from Lucifer.” And he goes off to find Beelzebub.

WOTD 08/13 KATIE, ANGIE AND JUNTTO Katie and Angie go immediately upon arrival at the Base to the left hanger, which had been converted into a freezer to handle Juntto. Angie was hesitant to see him as he really was, afraid she might lose her feelings toward him, but Katie would be with her, so OK. They donned winter gear, and went in, to see Juntto. He was huge in his frost giant form, and his scaled body was blue and muscular. Hair covered his face, and his eyes were closed. A silver streak still wound its way through his hair. As cold as it was, his chest still rose and fell. His nose expelled shallow steaming breaths that floated toward the top of the hangar. Dr. Ozu walks in, in care of Juntto. Katie thinks he would need more heat, not be in a freezer, and to stay away from physical intervention until we have exhausted all other ideas.” Angie looked at Juntto’s frozen face. He looked so peaceful and quiet. It was quite the opposite of what he normally was. Angie had an idea. Opposites attract! like everyone else in battle, he was constantly feeding on negative emotion. When he was fighting, he had his game face on. He took all the rage he had bottled up and laid it out in the form of violence. “During the fight, he saved several people, then was overpowered by demons. I went back for him. I saved him and got him out of that shit-storm. From then on, things really started to change. I mean, he had already mellowed out, but that was because Pandora had threatened him. After I saved him, he started to really fight on our side. It wasn’t about the killing anymore. It was about protecting the Earth from the demons.” Angie’s face was full of emotion as she looked down at Juntto. “He was becoming human. He was feeling all the things humans feel, more than just anger and annoyance. He felt solidarity. Compassion. Maybe even love. Then he just shut down.” And they wondered how to help him.

WOTD 08/14 THE LARGEST BATTLE AT THE BASE The alarms sounded, and things began to rumble and shake. Katie turned to the doctor. “This is important. We have to keep Juntto out of the hands of the demons. There’s a fail-safe built into this room. If they take over and Angie gives you the word, blow this bitch. The safety of the world depends on your actions. Are you able to do that?” Katie/Pandora stepped outside, as Moloch appeared in the portal, stepping onto Earth. Katie calls for her Angel armor, and, Pandora cussing, goes to meet Moloch. He took a swipe At her, knocking her out of the air, and there was a Katie-sized imprint where her body had hit the ground. After injuries on both sides,

During the fight with Moloch, Angie was with Juntto and the Doctor, in the hanger. As the fight outside became more outrageous, the hanger was shaken, the lines carrying the freezer fluid popped, and Angie laid on top of Juntto, wishing he were back to protect her. The doctor, an ex-Marine, was determined to help Kate. She had no chance fighting this demon alone, so he called for ammo, and metal, and began working.

WOTD 08/15 As the fight progressed, Katie realized that she needed more armor, and called for it. It came down – a gleaming shield, which stopped Moloch’s punches in a trice. Moloch recognized it as an Angel shield. It stopped him cold when he tried to rush her, and she hit him with it, knocking him down. As Angie held onto Juntto, they saw beams of light flash, Katie summoning her angel powers. Angie whimpered and buried her head in Juntto’s neck. Her hands were trembling, so she wrapped them around his blanket. Something heavy hit the building, and it creaked and tilted crazily to the right. “Juntto, come on. You have to be in there. You have to fight through whatever this is. You have to come out of there and help us. There’s a reason you are still alive.” Angie closed her eyes and held onto him. Slowly, the coldness began to dissipate from beneath her. A warmth she hadn’t felt in a long time radiated from Juntto’s chest. She turned her head, eagerly searching his face. She brought her hand to his cheek. His eyes popped open, and he gulped air in huge gasps. Angie bolted up and looked at the doctor, who jumped from his chair and ran back into the main area. Junto was alive, and sat up, rubbing his face and complaining about the cold.. He explained what was happening (See Characters,, Juntto) He shrank down to human size, dressed, went back to his frost giant form. His beard was long and scraggly and his long hair was silvery-white, and went out to help Katie, asking for spears as his weapon of choice.

WOTD 08/16 JUNTTO HELPS Katie had just disarmed Moloch, literally, and was resting during the three minutes it would take him to heal, when Juntto came out of the hanger, set for battle. Moloch sees Juntto, and claims him as HIS demon. Juntto disputes that, saying “I work for myself. You’re nothing. There have been far too many years of you and your sick fucking demented demons controlling the people of my planet. These humans have shown me it’s far more heroic to stand for something instead of falling for your bullshit. I decide what I fight for, and I fight for them.” After Juntto starts fighting him, Moloch gives up, and returns back through one of the portals. After the battle, Katie asked, what woke you up?” Juntto shrugged. “Honestly? You and Angie. My body reprogrammed itself to work off caring, friendship, and honor. That was why it froze. I was…rebooting, I guess. I only ever knew anger and bitterness until I met you and Angie. Her tears brought me out of my sleep.” They all cleaned up the Base, had a ceremony honoring their fallen, and decided to party later.

BACK IN ROMANIA In Romania, Brock and his team find that they are almost out of ammo, and that they wouldn’t have more for at least two hours. As they are discussing where to go, a voice offers, “To the church”, and Sasha, the owner of the house they are in, shows up. They agree, and Brock says,” “Right. Okay. We move out, then. Let’s get there the quickest way possible. Beeline for the front doors.” Sasha goes with them. As they exit the house, a many portals show up, dropping glops of lava. They were pouring lava on the town! The team formed a line and made a break for it, keeping Sasha in the middle of the formation. All across the town, both humans and demons screamed. The flowing lava burned whoever it touched, no matter which side they were on.

Baal, hears the news. Moloch had gone to attack Katie and Pandora, and had not done well. He was happy to have the glass of Suntory Yamazaki 1960 Whiskey in his hand, and a new demon scurried in carrying a tray of pickled ferrets. Baal had given in to the allure of luxury. He had his chef in the kitchen around the clock and had several demons to do his bidding inside the house. At first, he had felt guilty, but then he remembered he was a demon. But before he indulged, he went back to the scroll, searching. He found what he was looking for, and went back to the ferrets and whiskey.

BRUSHWOOD'S MESSAGE Brushwood calls Katie, telling her of the Romanian affair. A complete loss. All hands not accounted for are MIA and presumed dead. I’m sorry to tell you, but that includes Brock’s entire team. I wanted to tell you before you heard it from someone else. They were valiant and strong fighters for the cause. It’s a great loss for the world, but I know they were friends of yours. I’m sorry, Katie.” Angie, Katie, et al watch Katie mourn, then straighten up. Her tears were tears of blood, and her eyes were no longer full of grief. They blazed red with fury. Juntto whispered, “Our angel has become an angel of death.”

WOTD 08/17 KATIE'S REACTION TO THE MESSAGE She had never felt that way before. She had been angry, hurt, and even destroyed by the death of a teammate, but this was personal. “I need all the special metal you can pull together, and I need it now. .Brock and his team were at an incursion in Europe. The demons somehow dumped lava over the entire town. The military is calling it a total loss, and anyone MIA is being presumed dead. Brock and his team never checked back in. I won’t allow them to continue to kill us. I will not let this go.” Juntto needed to become something more human, so his blue frost giant form melted away, changing into a Channing Tatum look-a-like. His camo gear faded into Magic Mike tear-away pants, and his shirt disappeared altogether. As Katie et al walked to a plane on the other side of the Base, set to go back to Home Base, the vision of Brock resurfaced in her mind. She felt instantaneous anger that she couldn’t hold back. Demons. The lava. The bodies of her friends. The thoughts drove her mad. She called Korbin, asking for a weapon to destroy portals. He thought that something that would create pressure inside of them might work, they agreed, and both hung up. Korbin and Joshua talk, Joshua saying, “Things sure have changed from the beginning. Just think, it wasn’t long ago that we even made our first bullet. Now, I’m creating weapons of mass destruction.” Katie, in retrospect, thinks that as long as she hasn’t seen Brock to really have died, he’s still alive, and she will continue working under that assumption. Seemed strange that Moloch didn’t brag about Romania to her.

WOTD 08/18 Korbin meets them at the airfield, finding Juntto as Tatum Channing, slightly disconcerting, but accepting it. As they stride off, Korbin tells Katie that Joshua has already started working on her portal bomb. As they enter the armory, they all see Joshua, wearing protective gear, working on the project. ,” I’m kind of rolling through ideas, creating as I go. I want to do something more intense than an explosion. You want it to be long-lasting. I think just an explosion or implosion will make little impact. Will be done in two days”. She told him to take whatever time he needed to do it right, Korbin talking to her about her reactions. As it will take a little time, Juntto, Katie and Pandora decide to go to Romania to look for Brock, Pandora portalling them through Hell to get there, literally. They arrive in a forest about ten miles away, and Katie, after asking Juntto to shrink into a smaller size. Flies them to the town. Billowing clouds of smoke floated ceaselessly toward the sky. Below, there was a faint shimmering where the fires still burned. Rivers of dark reds and purples flowed throughout the entire town. Lava. She searched all day, occasionally killing a left-over demon, but no Brock and team. The next day, they saw a church, and went down, hoping to find survivors in it. No luck. No survivors and no bodies. Korbin calls, that the bomb is ready, and for Katie to come back. They portal back through Hell, fighting with Demons while there, then get back to the Base, where Angie and Juntto go off together, Katie feeling badly about life in general.

Moloch and Beelzebub talk about his fight with Katie. Beelzebub thinks that Moloch is overestimating her abilities, and that with his plan he would do better. Now that he and Moloch were working together, they would manage it. First Moloch had to get her to Hell, then they’d weaken her, pull out Lilith and Moloch would take Lilith to Lucifer. Moloch is worried about working with Beelzebub. Lucifer would be VERY angry if this didn’t work!

WOTD 08/20 PLANNING FOR HELL At the armory, all were present at the showing of the new bomb. Joshua explained. A bomb that would poison the atmospheres of Hell, so that anything breathing there would die a painful death. (See Weapons, Hell’s Bomb) Afterwards, back in Korbin and Stephanie’s apartment, Timothy rushes in, with news of a portal opening in the sky above them. Timothy suggests trying out their new anti-aircraft guns before they all go out to fight, as they can be aimed to fire into the portal as it is shaping. (Six guns, all controlled from Timothy’s tablet). Korbin gave the word to fire as soon as the first demons began to drop. They rotated slightly, sprayed bullets from one end of the portal to the other. As the demons fell, they turned to dust, disintegrating before they could hit the roof of the building. The guns continued to fire for another three minutes. The portal wavered and flickered for a moment before slamming shut. Another portal opened, 180 degrees around the base. The guns could rotate, but couldn’t do a 180. So they fought those demons by hand, Katie, Calvin and Juntto, while the men kept firing into the portal. The demons coming from this portal were different. “They’re getting stronger and fiercer,” Stephanie commented. “I haven’t seen a battle rage like this one in a very long time.” Korbin’s breath caught as he took it in. “I know. Everything about these demons has been drastically evolving.” Timothy turned on the lights, so Katie et al could see better to fight, and suddenly there were only two. Katie was gone.

WOTD 08/21 Katie had been captured by Moloch, and taken into Hell, just like she had planned.

WOTD 08/22 Katie and Moloch fight, in Hell. Moloch was enjoying beating the hell out of Katie more than anyone he’d ever tortured. Katie keeps taunting him, and he keeps responding by beating her more. Moloch took her dagger from her, and taunted her with it. He would teach her some manners!

Junto and Calvin stock up on weapons, going into Hell to rescue Katie, as planned. Pandora, in Calvin, told them to hurry up. Calvin/Pandora opened a portal, the he and Juntto stepped through. All those left on Earth hope that they will get there in time to save Katie, before Moloch messes her up too badly.

WOTD 08/23 KATIE AND MOLOCH Moloch believes that Pandora is still within Katie, and is just too scared to come out, but if he hurts her human body enough, she’ll finally show herself. And he set in to do so. Finally, he reached inside her, and pulled out the demon she contained. All Katie could say was, “Joke’s on you”! and kneed him in the crotch. It wasn’t Lilith. He had been tricked! Where was she? As he ranted, she listened, and then, saw her angel sword coming out of the front of his chest. Then a second sword came out the front. Then he was kicked from behind, in the groin. Juntto stood behind Moloch, holding both swords so he couldn’t move. Pandora threw him a setoff chains they had brought, and he bound Moloch tightly. Pandora apologized to the demon on the ground, then quickly slid back into Katie, almost instantly numbing the pain, and setting the bones, so that she could do the next part of their plan. Pandora had forced Calvin to stay on Earth, once she had entered Hell, as he the had no demon to protect him. So it was now Katie, Pandora, and Juntto.

WOTD 08/24 MOLOCH'S EXECUTION They all stepped out of a portal in the middle of New York City, dragging Moloch in chains with them. They waited until all of the News vans had arrived, then Katie went into full angel dress, crown, shield, wings. She addressed them, and read them the Creed of the Damned. It is our way of life, and it is our dedication to you.” She intended to kill Moloch in front of everyone. Moloch sneered, as he knew that a no human could kill him. The Pandora stepped out of Katie’s body, angelic robes whirled and hovered around her, shimmering in the autumn sun. She looked quiet and calm, a small, tight-lipped smile on her face. Instead of striking Moloch, she simply reached out and gently pressed her fingertips to Moloch’s forehead. Smoke came from his skin and he tilted his head back, screaming at the top of his lungs. Pandora swore to kill him, by all of the angel responsibilities she had forsaken in the past, and which had been returned to her. And she beheaded him with her own angel sword, Juntto pushing his body flat to the ground. Jane Arrows, Channel 8 News Reported, was there, and reported on it all.

PANDORS'S DEBUT Gabriel was watching it all, from the top of an adjacent building. Pandora spread out, in all of her angel glory. Her eyes flickered from red to blue and back again, just like Katie’s did. The sword in her grasp disappeared, and a bright white light shone down from between the clouds, spotlighting her. She closed her eyes and released her wings. They unfolded from her back and spread wide, the tips almost touching the buildings on either side of the street. They were gray with silver and golden wisps. Her crown was a circlet of golden thorns, each sharp tip sparkling in the sun. She cleared her throat and began, “It is time for the War of the Angels.”

WOTD 08/25 In his castle, Baal watched the death of Moloch, on the Earth’s news, and saw Pandora, Lilith, was really an angel, and Baal was really dead.

Beelzebub was in a great rage. First, they publicly behead a member of Lucifer’s council, then, they celebrate his death and mount his head in the center of New York City. On top of that, Lilith turned out to be some sort of recovered demon with angelic abilities. To top it off, those lazy, good-for-nothing humans dropped a bomb of death into the third ring, with a scientifically viable weapon that not only fucked with us but sent a huge number of our demons either into the abyss or plummeting into the very depths of hell they had just climbed out of.” Beelzebub felt like he should have never partnered with Moloch – that he should have just done it on his own. Baal snorted. “I know you think you’re all high and mighty, but you wouldn’t have survived either. She would have beheaded both of you with that golden sword of death and never given it a second thought. Your headless corpse would have been tied to a tractor-trailer and dumped next to Moloch’s.” In the middle of their argument, a note came from Lucifer, demanding Beelzebub’s presence immediately. Beelzebub was terrified, and followed along.

KATIE AND PANDORA, REMINISCING Katie and Pandora sat on top of one of New York’s tall buildings, where Katie could see the sky. The perfect spot. They reviewed what Pandora had done- Not only did you come out of my body on national television, but you also came out with divine angelic powers stronger than mine. You really decided to leave your mark on the world this time around, didn’t you? Pandora smiled. I want to be in the history books. I want to be taught in school. Maybe even revered for my scientific mind, not just my tits and ass—though they could teach a course or two about my ass. Katie wouldn’t give up on finding Brock, and Pandora wouldn’t give up on helping her to do so. They were still a team. And they laughed all of the way to help the cops take a person in Macy’s because they were out of the comforters he wanted.

And a lawyer left his office, saw Katie at work, and smiled, his eyes flashing a deep ruby-red.
