Charles Butler
PBTD 07/4
When Korbin's Killers and the U.S. Government agree to a joint effort to overcome the Demonic Plague inspired by T'Chezz and Moloch, they also agree to have the Gov.'s help in the manufacturing of Joshua's special weapons, especially the bullets, swords and knives. Two men from private industry, under Gov. contract, agree to come to Korbin's base, and work with Joshua on that manufacturing effort. One of these was Travis Novak, from the advanced metallurgical arena. The other was Charles Butler, from a major ammunition manufacturer. Both men agreed that all of the info they worked with was absolutely top secret, and could not be leaked back to their companies, on literal pain of death. They both agreed. They both lived on base, brought in additional machinery, additional information, and it seemed to be working out well.
Charles Butler, the ammunition specialist, reports a full black-out to his company, and doesn’t know how long he’ll be gone. Doesn’t know why his boss is being so supportive. It seemed out of his character, and frankly a bit suspicious.
Charles had taken over the production side of the operation, and when it seemed that it was feasible, they asked him what he would need to run a seven-day week, with overtime. “I’ll probably need seven people minimum to run the machines and quality-check the rounds as they come off the manufacturing floor, and that’s just looking at a normal five-day work week. If you count the extra two days, I’ll need a couple more. Of course, I won’t be here forever, so I don’t really want to include myself in that number.” Nellis AFB is called, and production is upped.
