Katie has wanted to get Joshua to create ways in which his special metal can be incorporated with bullets, to make them more effective in fighting the demons. They had originally thought of spraying the bullets with a thin coating of the metal, but decided that it would be ineffective. Joshua had gone to John Kern, a gunsmith in Henderson, who owned Spurlock's, which had been open for forty years. John talked about using hollow-points, frowned upon in the USA, but then demons hadn't signed any treaties forbidding them, so, if effective, OK. The cops use them. One of the main reasons is so the bullets have a much smaller chance of hurting others by over-penetrating, even if they hit the intended target.” Further, if the bullet stops inside the body, there is an argument about hydro-shock causing additional damage. You would roll your hands together until you made the clay a sphere. I understand that is similar, but they have these huge spools of wire. For us to do this, we would have to make spools of wire, then cut the wire to the size we want and manufacture these special disks of steel that will roll the little pieces of wire into balls.” New machines? No idea. They don’t have pictures of their machine due to proprietary knowledge or something, so I have to design my ideas first and then we get them machined and do tests.”Let me get Derek and Korbin involved. I bet we can find something on the internet that you haven’t, or perhaps get someone involved on the government side. They have to be good for something.

Joshua give Katie three boxes of hollow-points, ready to test. When they enter the body, the bullet mushrooms, ejecting the harmful metal. These will disable most demons with one shot anywhere in the body so that you can chop their heads off or burn them, whatever is necessary. Multiple hits should work on the big ones, but you have to aim really well to get the best results, like between the eyes.
