On Exorcising Garrett's Demon: Garrett's demon, Glazglow, is a fire demon, and quite a powerful one at that. He’s quiet inside Garrett, but at the first sign of anyone even thinking about removing him he begins to fight back. It almost killed Garrett the first week he was here.” Do you think he is strong enough now?” she asked. Damian nodded. “I would bet that he is. The problem with it is, you have to kill the demon inside him. You have to lure it out enough to be able to kill it. That’s where it gets tricky. The demon still is somewhat in the body, so it has the ability to use magic and such, but that also means it can kill its host. This particular demon has been a thorn in all our sides since Garrett arrived. We don’t know how to kill him without killing Garrett too, so in his eyes it was always too risky. He didn’t want to be away from his family, but at least here he is able to watch them from afar. There would be nothing he could do to protect them if he were dead.”

“What would it take to kill the demon?”" We aren’t quite sure,” Damian said. “He doesn’t react to scripture. I can’t cast him out, leaving his aura to hover until he is sent back to hell, and outside the body there is no way to kill him since he isn’t tangible. I know demons can kill other demons, but we haven’t come upon any demons chomping at the bit to do us any favors.”

So, exorcism… Is it something that happens a lot?”

“Not really. There are a lot of risks involved. You could die, you could not die and be consumed, or you could end up being dragged down to hell with the demon if it is done incorrectly, which isn’t usually good for either of you. In the beginning, many attempts were made by priests in my religion and Catholicism—many failed attempts. The higher-ups put a stop to it, only allowing a select few of us to attempt them, and only on those who have volunteered and been told the risks that go along with it.”

The Process: Damian said. “I’m going to use an invocation to pull the demon out of Garrett’s body. Now, everyone in this room has a demon, so the only option is for the demon to double up inside of one of us. He is going to be looking for the best spot with the least restrictions. So I’m going to need you (Katie) to be as prepared as humanly possible to accept the demon so that he doesn’t come running after either of us. Neither of our demons will kick this one’s ass, and combining that one with one of ours could be catastrophic. This demon needs to go to you, no questions asked.” Turning to Garrett. “When the exorcism is complete, you won’t have any memories from when the demon was in your body. You will feel like you just left the fire at the hotel. These last months will be gone. Just know that when you feel like someone is thinking about you out there somewhere, someone is. Damian begins his ritual. Damian pulled his bible from his bag and held it tightly in his arms. He took a deep breath and stepped forward, beginning to murmur his invocation.

“Omnipotens enim praesidio sub principe vigiliam noctis Conjuro daemonem superficie ignis. Hinc homine mortali exire alia moveri. Nos autem conhure daemonis, ut sie te,”

he said in Latin, then repeated it with more conviction.

“OMNIPOTENS ENIM PRAESIDIO SUB PRINCIPE VIGILIAM

NOCTIS CONJURO DAEMONEM SUPERFICIE IGNIS. HINC HOMINE MORTALI EXIRE ALIA MOVERI. NOS AUTEM CONHURE DAEMONIS, UT

SIE TE!”

The room began to shake, and the bottles on the shelves rattled loudly. Damian looked up as the apparition of Garrett’s fire demon rose from his chest and looked around the room for a body, connecting with each demon he sniffed out to figure out where he should land. The demon inside Garrett was searching for a home, one he knew he would have to share with another entity. He growled, showing muscle as he peered at Korbin and then Damian. Their demons looked out of their host bodies, watching what was progressing. They did not want a roommate, which was exactly what Damian and Korbin were counting on, and because Pandora minimizes herself. Luring a demon took more than a comfortable place to live. It took commitment and a desire to pull that energy into you, to absorb it into your center…and then reject it before it could be surprised. Pandora wasn’t worried about the rejection part. She had other plans for this idiot, which involved claws and the fires of Hell. She wasn’t playing games, and she wouldn’t risk her human body’s safety. The demon chooses Katie in which to reside. Before Katie could stop Pandora, she put Katie under a spell that pulled her into the dream world, and held her there as she worked against the demon. She would remember only what Pandora wanted her to remember, and for Katie that would be a good thing.Pandora kills him, and sends him to Hell, proving herself to be one of the 72

In another exorcism, in NY City, Damian uses other expressions to call the demon out-

Damian walked around the bed, pulling out his cross and opening his bible.

“Oratio ad Sancte Michaelem Archangelum in nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritu sancto. Amen,” Damian chanted in Latin.

“Princeps gloriosissime caelestis exercitus, Sancte Michaelem Archangelum, da nobis aciem adversus principes potestates principes autem adversus mundi rectores tenebrarum harum, contra spiritualia nequitiae, in caelestibus,” Damian continued.

“Nos eiciam vos de nobis, quicumque haec legis, Et spiritus immundi, omnis satanica potestates. Omnes infernales impletis, improbis legionibus necnon sectarum numerum pervenitur.” Damian raised his hands and screamed, “We drive you from us, whoever you may be, unclean spirits, all satanic powers, all infernal invaders, all wicked legions, assemblies, and sects!”

Damian pulled out his cross and held it in the air as he pressed his hand to the woman’s chest.

Katie watched as the demon rose from her body, shrieking and scowling, its eyes as red as blood. The demon howled as its spirit was sucked back down into hell, finally disappearing.

Damian who nodded and smiled before sitting down on the edge of the bed to check on the woman. She was still alive, and from the looks of her pink cheeks she was going to be just fine.
