No time like the present to figure out one's future. That's a nice platitude, but what if you are a demon? And the former Queen of Hell? Pandora saved an angel, Katie, when she could have stayed in hell and all but assured Earth would fall to Moloch. But now she has a conundrum. Further complicating things, Katie is acting very out of character, and Pandora needs to help her friend find her bearings once more.

WOTD 06/1 REVIEW IN HELL Baal and Moloch are reviewing what had just happened down in Hell, when Katie and Pandora had chased Tiamat down there, then escaped, leaving her there with them. Lilith had also caused a blizzard there, freezing most of the attending demons. (See Lilith for details.) They open a portal, and allow Tiamat to go back up to Earth, as she’ll probably die, anyway, and they didn’t want her corpse down with them. They feel required to keep their word to her, as they hold themselves to a higher level of responsibility, like Lucifer(keep their word most of the time).

General Brushwood, on board on of the surrounding ships, decides, as it’s been more than an hour since Katie disappeared, to investigate, and orders the SEAL teams to the island, ready to land, or return, as needed. (In RHIB, Rigid-hulled inflatable boats). Timothy call Brushwood, and warns him that there is a new portal about to open on the island, and to call the men back if they are there. Tiamat appears, and the Navy blasts her to pieces. Baal and Moloch bump fists, laughing, that they kept their word - they sent her back. Her portal closed.

WOTD 06/2 KATIE’S RETURN Katie awakens, with Pandora in control. Pandora had taken them to the top of a NY building, to recover their wits before appearing in public. (She looked at her reflection in the doors of the elevator and grimaced. There was blood on her face, most likely hers, and a gash across her chest. Her clothes hung off her body in shreds. She leaned forward and carefully touched the purple and blue around her eyes.) Pandora had been healing her burns, broken bones, and a slight concussion. Katie’s phone was smashed to pieces, and Katie was in no condition to fly, so Pandora took over, taking them to their front door (Katie didn’t have her keys), and up to their apartment, a fight breaking out on the sidewalk between Katie’s supporters and detractors. Once upstairs, Angie takes over, and Katie calls Brushwood. She’s back in NY, she learns Tiamat is dead, and she tells him she’s taking a week off to recover.

WOTD 06/3 THE MOVE The old base needs to be moved. The demons know of its location, and a lot of it was destroyed in the attack, so the whole base will be moved, temporarily, to Groom Lake, in Area 51. (See Korbin's Base (Compound)) The move is started.

Pandora wakes Katie after allowing her to sleep for two days. Pandora’s hungry! So Katie dresses, and walks to Krispy Kreme Donuts, and finds three men going into a bank on the way, to make a “withdrawal”. Katie goes after them.

Brushwood and his men are in a conference, trying to think through their Leviathan problem, what to do with the other six healthy ones, including destroying them with nukes. Brushwood’s comment,” “You know, gentlemen, we could always just let them sleep. Just because one was sent after us doesn’t mean the others will rise. But I know one thing for sure. If we start hunting them down and wake them up, they’re all going to come after us.”

WOTD 06/4 THE BANK INCIDENT Katie was angry at the three men, and was rapidly changing from angel mode (blue eyes) to demon mode (red eyes), and back. Pandora is beginning to wonder at a possible change. Katie had been talking more, whistling at firemen, and talking about sex. Most unlike her! Katie took the robbers down immediately, with three shots, not even warning people. And then was rude to the Security Guard, refusing to stay to answer to the police, going on to get donuts and pizza, next door to Kremes. Travers and Schultz come to take her statement, and also find her to be acting weird. ”I haven’t seen her be that violent toward anyone in a long time. I think we need to get in touch with her boss. Let’s try the general unless you know how to get hold of…God?”

Pandora talks to her. It might sound a little strange, but ever since we got back from hell, you’ve been acting a little bit off. I’m talking about the way you’re handling everyone right now. You’re snappy, quick to point the finger, and you have no problem telling anyone off. . But the Katie I know, she doesn’t do that. The Katie I know handles everything with kid gloves. Are you going to answer me? “ “If you want to know my heart, you have to promise to open yours. Pandora sighed. Well, fuck.

WOTD 06/5 PANDORA WONDERS Brushwood talks to Calvin about Katie’s personality change. Brushwood tell him about the bank robbery. The way she did it was a little bit odd. She was aggressive. Even brutal. She threatened a guard after the robbery was dealt with. I guess I’m kind of worried about Katie and the possibility of PTSD after her last fight. She seems to have come back a bit changed, after her fight with the Leviathan. She’s a lot harder. She’s not the Katie I know. . Katie’s become a very important person to me, both professionally and personally. I’ve never seen her act like the Katie I saw today on those tapes. I’ve only seen her act that way when Pandora takes over. To be honest, even Pandora didn’t seem as rough-and-tumble as Katie looked today.” Calvin advised the General to give her more time, and to let Pandora work on her. They agree that might be best.

Katie asks Angie to get her new keys, (left them in “another dimension”, and she picks them up downstairs, going to a local nightclub. She’s so hot that the doorman let her right in, and she immediately went to the bar and ordered a whiskey on the rocks. Katie starts grading the men in the club. Pandora was torn. This was her scene, but she knew whatever was going on wasn’t healthy. She wasn’t going to let Katie go home with some random guy, so she stops her from walking across the dance floor. Katie responds, You're a goddamned hypocrite. You can’t push me to be who you want me to be and then pull back when I finally become her. You know what? Why don’t you just take over? I’m going to sleep.” Pandora did, and Katie did. Pandora went to a quiet café, on the top of a building, and thought about her future. she couldn’t help worrying about Katie. Katie was only human, even if she did have angel DNA and a demon inside her. If Pandora didn’t have Katie, she couldn’t go back home to hell. She was too different now. She’d changed. She almost enjoyed being with the humans around her. And then a voice intruded. “May I sit with you?”

WOTD 06/6 GABRIEL It was Gabriel, wearing a bright silver tie that almost perfectly matched his hair, which was pulled back into a ponytail. His shimmering blue eyes let her know he meant her no harm. He mentions that Michael said hello. It’s only been 10,000 years, so ?? Pandora was in charge of their body, and Gabriel spoke to her. Gabriel was surprised that she hadn’t taken the opportunity to stay below. Pandora asks him what’s wrong with Katie, with the instantaneous personality changes, and also about herself, although she wouldn’t admit it. She could feel her changes, as well. Gabriel has a message for Katie, when she wakes up. Pandora stays awhile, thinking that she really isn’t finished with her Katie adventure, so she got everyone’s attention in the restaurant, as she liked an audience, then jumped out the window, using Katie’s wings to get home.

WOTD06/7 PANDORA AND KATIE TALK Katie rises the next morning, only slightly hung over, and attempts to speak with Pandora, but Pandora is not responding at all, so Katie goes to the kitchen for breakfast. While talking with Angie, Pandora speaks up, as well, and tells Katie that they have to talk. So Katie dresses, and they go out flying (To Statue of Liberty). Pandora starts to talk about real love – the emotion that makes a person give up EVERYTHING for another. A mother’s love. Pandora has never really known that. Passion, Lust, infatuation, but never Love. Katie is sad for her. Pandora had been trying to analyze why she had saved Katie from Hell, from the domain in which she, herself, was Queen, Ruler. But she just couldn’t let Katie die down there, giving Baal and Moloch what they wanted. And Katie responded, “I wanted to give you something for doing what you did. You want guys, so I went out to find them. I was going to find the best dick I could to fill you. Each had tried to do their best for the other, and each had had the other to rely on now for years, so they had, indeed become as loving sisters. As Pandora said, “You are my sister, Katie. When you freed me, I chose to come back to you. I guess that means we’re together forever. And Katie agreed “I so swear it”. And then there was a flash of lightning, with no clouds, and frightened screams.

WOTD 06/8 Katie and Pandora see a cop car chase, and fly over it to see what was happening. The lead car was firing at the cops, and even almost got Katie – took off a couple of her feathers! Drew and Jason see Katie stop the other car by landing on its hood, the flying up as it starts up again. The cops let her chase the car, and Katie finished the chase by calling for her angelic sword and slicing the car in two, length-wise, as it was being driven. Katie pulled the driver out, admonishing him for almost killing a puppy, when the passenger got out and started again firing shots at Katie. Katie pulled him out, disarmed him, and delivered the two of them to the cops, as the gangsters ran to the cops, shouting “Save me! Save me !” As Katie and Pandora were celebrating with pizza and donuts, Travers and Schultz came up for another statement. They talked about how to animate X-rox deliveries, and, out the window, Katie saw a purse-snatcher running away with a lady’s purse. She threw a chair at him, from the donut shop, stopping him in his tracks. He wanted to fight, and Pandora did, too, so Travers and Schultz just had to wait until their Pandora’s warning was given, to arrest the thief. Katie signed an autograph for a little girl who was watching-

WOTD 06/9 THE EUROPEAN TOUR – BAAL AND MOLOCH Baal and Moloch will take a European trip that day, and in anticipation, Moloch had prepared a buffet to honor the countries they would visit - guinea pigs in croissants, wiener dogs on a stick, rabbit and potato pierogies—still fresh—and my favorite, Slovenian gerbil stew. , I figured we would mark the next era of destruction with a little celebration. I’m so tired of doom and gloom. Moloch figured there’s no way Katie has found out about their little plan, even if she did come out of hell alive and well. This should be nice and sneaky and entertaining.” Baal; and Moloch have planned to partially destroy six villages in Europe and England. No one will be able to stop them, because they’ll be too far away, and won’t know where the next attack will come. They destroy Manarola, Italy. There are no cars or roads, just a bunch of disgusting humans enjoying the beauty of their fishing town.”. “Portree, Scotland. The largest town on the Isle of Skye. Home to some twenty-five hundred people. A booming port, and quite nice on the eyes.” Bled, Slovenia. This town is about double the size of the last. It was established in 1004.” “Bibury, England I wrote the original Domesday Book, but that bastard William the Conqueror got hold of it and ended up using it to gain enormous power over much of medieval England. I’m still bitter. Anyway, this town was in it.” “This was one of Lilith’s favorite playgrounds centuries ago. It is Sintra, Portugal, and is known as the Moon Cult City. “Giethoorn in the Netherlands, also one of those places close to the bitch’s heart. Two of these towns destroyed will get under Lilith’s skin. Some of her favorites. “Then we wait and see what happens next.”

WOTD 06/10 THE NEWS Pandora wakes Katie the next morning (Try all you want, but you have yet to master the ability to ward off my energizing vibes.) Katie swears Pandora does it to make her miserable (and she’s mostly right). But this morning Pandora awakens her to dress for war. She is instructed to find a nice quiet place to chill out, does so, and Pandora takes over, opening a portal, in which is showing a video of angel and demons fighting. Pandora reviews angel demon history, in which humans become the buffer between the species. ,\ God is not a lawyer. Lucifer has dabbled, though. Anyway, everything has limits. Your all-knowing God protected you from everyone with his rules, that means from demons and God himself. But we demons weren’t as dumb as he thought. The whole meat sack idea is pretty ingenious, really, although , I’ve never known an angel who could handle being in hell for that long. The heat coupled with the hatred, suffering, sin, and damning kind of gets to them. It’s not really their playground. So we have fought wars, humans have fought wars, and now humans and demons are fighting a war. That’s exactly right. It’s been happening for a very long time. Whoops! Time to go. The dires got a smell of me, I guess. And Katie found them back on top of their apartment, in NYC. Katie and Pandora go inside, and find Angie crying as she told them of the six towns destroyed.

Korbin was looking at the new base grounds, in Area 51, planning the defenses, talking to Stephanie Lee. “We need ammunition, traps, better fencing around the perimeter, and reinforced defensive shields for all these buildings.” Calvin comes along, as the walk around and plan more. Katie calls Brushwood and wants to meet with him, at his base the next day. Agreed.

WOTD 06/11 Moloch and Baal watching a human newscaster tell of their devastation and destruction. Their reaction? “It was a fantastic day. They had no idea what hit them. The only demon fatalities were the one lit up by the Scottish barkeep, and then the one you exploded.” A shit-eating grin grew on Moloch’s face. “Yes. And no Pandora and Katie to fuck things up. Good tactics. Terrorize the populace and get them to come to the table. We sign all sorts of agreements and then renege on them. Love it. Why would they think they could ever trust us? Hell, they sign agreements between each other all the time and never fully commit to them. They’re constantly backstabbing each other. What makes them think we’ll hold true to an agreement? We live on immorality and broken promises.” And they’re waiting for Katie to fight them again! Katie and Brushwood meet, plan on attacking Hell, for information, then get out right away. They plan on using Brock’s team of men, who at that moment were killing infected animals in a jungle.

WOTD 06/12 THE REQUEST Calvin, Timothy and Joshua were standing on the old base, looking it over. The move was complete, and the old base shut down. Timothy was sad because they had to shut down his servers for the move. They leave in Timothy’s jeep, to go to the new base, Timothy moaning because he’s farther than ever from good shopping!

Brock’s team meets, considers a request for them to storm the gates of Hell. Their commander, who had presented them with this encounter, is surprised that they all want to go and do it. They want to work with Katie, so filled out the papers, which will be forwarded to the general. Their commander orders them to return, also, or there won’t be any good teams to work with. They all promise to do so.

WOTD 06/13 Dr. Thorough was the researcher tasked with developing the program for the attack on Hell, along with his assistant, Alice. Is packing up to go, and is excited.

Brock’s team loads onto copters, to go to Katie and their next adventure in Hell.

WOTD 06/14 Katie and Pandora arrive at the abandoned Colorado base, mostly underground, they will be using to train/pack up fort Hell. They see empty, dusty rooms, old Blimp hangers, etc., and wonder if their donuts will come every three days, as promised. Commander Ellison is in charge, greets her, is her liaison point with the base.

Calvin, Timothy, Korbin and Stephanie Lee work at the new base, getting everything set up to support Katie as they might be able to. Timothy tells Korbin that he heard on the wires that Katie and a team were going to go to Hell, for an attack. Calvin wants to be in on it, to get revenge for the many friends he’s lost through the years, so he makes a phone call.

Brock’s team lands at the old Colorado base, don’t think they’ll get too comfortable before they have to leave. They are met, informed of orientation time, taken to the mess hall for dinner, etc.,

CALVIN JOINS THE TEAM Calvin checks out the rumor with Katie, and finds out it’s the truth. We decided to do a low-risk R&D operation. We’re going to gather a bunch of information on hell. The climate, the terrain, mineral information—that sort of thing. In and out very quickly. Ultimately, sure, it will be used to storm hell, but right now it’s just reconnaissance. Katie agrees to take him with her.

WOTD 06/15 THE FROST GIANT Moloch came to earth, to give the Frost Giant a personal welcome, in Demon, as the giant spoke nothing else. Moloch had wakened him, and he was upset, as he didn’t like the Earth as it was. Moloch explains that he and Baal wanted to take over the Earth, and that the angels weren’t objecting yet, so they were free to battle with the humans. The frost giant sneered. “They always did wait until the last second to make their grand entrance. Very dramatic.” Moloch explains about Katie and Pandora. The frost giant was upset that Lilith had joined the humans. “Why is that bitch always a problem? I hate her. I always have. She’s always in the way of every good plan.” Moloch brings him up to speed on the human weapons, including the special metal guns, etc. Everyone now speaks English. They reminisce about life on Earth centuries ago, and why Moloch couldn’t make it (Ate human heads and live puppies for dinner). Giant shrinks himself to human size, fights with Moloch about who will be Lord, punches Moloch so that he flies into trees, then crashes down the mountain to conquer civilization. He meets a couple, introduces himself to them , Juntto, kills the man, takes his clothes, and attempts to take the woman, but she fights so hard, Juntto simply grabs her and throws her off the mountain. Too much trouble! He goes back to Hell, and had a celebration dinner with Baal, now that Juntto is alive and on Earth again.

WOTD 06/16 A three-man military copter ( First Lieutenant Andrews, Second Lieutenant Troughtman, and a staff sergeant) was investigating the report of two portals opening on the side of a European Mountain, found it to be true, along with two dead humans. Will report it ASAP. Looks like demon activity, with side effects.

Brock et al sitting around, chatting with Katie, telling stories of their adventures. Gets the notice that R & D teams arriving. Dr. Thorough calls Katie #182, as that’s the way she was described in the reports he had read, and she finally introduces herself as Katie, telling him to “try it on for size”, before she decides to leave him in Hell. Brock thinks the Dr. is totally rude, and doesn’t forgive him for insulting Katie. They all go to a meeting room to talk about the mission. Katie leaned back in one of the creaky chairs. “Do you think you brought everything necessary to successfully take the readings you’ll need?” The doctor muttered to himself and examined the equipment Alice had been carrying. “Everything that we have invented so far. We’ll have to assemble some of it, but my question is, what can we bring? What sort of secondary team will I have? Can we transfer larger equipment?” “You bring whatever you can carry and no more. Understand that we might have to move fast and work under combat type scenarios.” Has anyone taken any temperature readings in there?” Katie chortled. “Not that I know of. I can promise you, it’s fucking hot. The unprotected human body alone won’t be able to survive for more than a few minutes. I’ve been told, though, that’s one of the problems that you’ve been working on.” They go out to the transfer room, and Dr. Thotough. is dismayed that there is no “Stargate” for the transfer. He’ll just have to adjust his expectations accordingly. Katie and Pandora go back to their room, notice the minimal treatments, and Pandora starts to whine for her donuts. A plane arrives, with Calvin, and Pandora goes into her Calvin act (swooning, 12 inches, etc.)

WOTD 06/17 PREPARATIONS Lt. Andrews reports the portals/human signs/bodies to Brushwood. Keep him informed, please. Calvin talks to Alice about the “aliens”. They aren’t aliens, they’re demons, angels, the soul-less. They are fighting Lucifer and his armies, and Bible is truth. Then where is God in all of this? Calvin gives up talking to her, and goes to investigate the equipment they will take. Dr. T asks Katie, “Excuse me? There is plenty of gear, but how about the instruments? Most of this stuff is vital. Tactically, I mean. It’s going to give you the information you need to make informed decisions in the future.” Katie brings him a car for his gadgets, and he becomes angry. She tells him, “We do everything smarter not harder. In and out as fast as possible.” Brock came over, and Katie explained. “Just help him figure out how to load all this shit in. This is why we’re going, after all. When we’re done, let’s all get some rest. We’ll leave right after.” The next morning Pandora’s donuts arrived, delivered by a tall soldier with a handsome smile. Pandora commented, breakfast and dessert, all in one! Katie shut the door on him.

WOTD 06/18 THE TRANSFER The base is receiving its arms, big eighteen-wheelers pulling three M109A6 Paladins on trailers emerged. Korbin whistled loudly. “Well, that’s about four point eight million dollars of ‘Go back to hell’ coming in right there.”

Katie, Brock’s team, and the R & D team meet, preparatory to the transfer. The plan was simple, in theory. They would open a portal and enter hell. Any demons that crossed over and escaped into the chamber would be held at bay. Then the army would exit, and the chamber would be filled with silver gas to kill the escapees. There was also backup on the outside of the hangar, just in case something managed to survive the gas. Three extra six-wheeled units carrying tools and equipment were lined up behind them. Calvin was pushing one, Brock and his team the next, and Alice was in charge of the last one. They would hopefully get them into hell and back out without incident. The whole crew was equipped with state-of-the-art fireproof suits and special gloves to touch the metal once it had absorbed the hellish heat. They all wore helmets with glass visors. . “Okay, guys. We’re going in, setting up defenses, and waiting for the tools to work. Let’s do this safe and fast so we can all get a beer afterward.” Pandora warns Katie NO ANGEL ANTICS IN HELL. It sets off a whole bunch of alarms, and they’ll be on us faster than flies on shit.

HELL (See Hell for details of that area, ) Got it! Let’s get this show on the road! Pandora opened a portal, and they all went in. They set up the experiments, the Dr. began to get his readings, they were in a defensive position, and suddenly, they felt something coming.

WOTD 06/19 Katie groaned, almost collapsed. Three large demons coming from the East. Brock’s men kill all three. The Dr. and Alice are getting fantastic readings. And everyone is recording their thoughts on their needs, reactions, etc., to be analyzed when they’re back. They need to stay alive for at least another 25 minutes for the readings, so Pandora will talk to Brock’s demons about how to keep humans alive in hell, maybe get some pointers. They remembered a spell used to amp human metabolism, maybe will work will try it out on Katie, first. It worked, but no one knows the after effects. And there is a large contingent of demons coming, so get ready to fight!

WOTD 06/20 As Brushwood is asking for an update, Dr. T and Alice come back through a portal on the outside of the building, reporting that Katie and the rest of the team won’t be coming back immediately. Data still flowing back through dimensional portals, so experiments will be completed. “It shouldn’t be long. As soon as the timer counts down to zero, they can get out of there. Katie has her team, and she knows how to bring the equipment back. Even if it gets left behind, we have all the data, sir. She and her team are going to hold off as long as they possibly can. The doctor is pulling up the countdown clock right now.” Brushwood speaks to the Commander at the transfer point. “Commander, I need you to get the noncombatants out of the chamber and prepare for a quick exit and fumigation. You need to be able to pull Katie and the others out of the chamber, hold back any demons coming through the portal, and then gas the motherfuckers. It is imperative that you do not hurt our people. I can’t make that clear enough. Katie, Calvin, and the four special ops are vitally important to the future of these missions. We need all of them in one piece.” The IT guys are transferring the countdown clock to your office. As soon as that clock hits zero, we should be expecting action from the other side.” Calvin and Katie see demons coming, deploy their forces. Two to watch the experiment, get it back to Earth when portal opens. Brock and his men form first line of defense against demons, to protect equipment. Calvin will back up their team, and if all comes to naught, will get them out before he helps Katie. A promise. The experiments are the vital part! The demon Katie is looking at is probably eighty feet tall, and accompanied by many smaller demons. They were going to have to fight hard! Turner is keeping an eye on the countdown clock.

WOTD 06/21 THE DEMONS END The huge demon was coming at Katie and the group, and Katie and Pandora had to decide what to do about him. Katie is going to go all angel, and Pandora is going to come out on her own, with her own powers. They do, and Pandora changes size to be as big as the demon, saving the final kick to his gonads as he is shot in the head. They get back to the team, the experiment is over, and they need to get back to the transfer point. Pandora opens the portal, and they all fall through.

WOTD 06/22 Timer had run out, negative five minutes. The Earth crew was worried that they wouldn’t get out at all, and they waited. The portal opened, and two came out with the equipment. Turner and Brock and were next, shooting back into Hell to keep the demons from coming out. Next was Calvin and Katie, Katie struggling to stand. But it was Pandora in control. They all got out, as the transfer room was filled with gas, just in case. Moloch was scanning the internet for news that Juntto was collecting an army. His servants came in to report that Lilith had come back, and had disabled Invernus, the giant demon, by growing to his size and kicking him in his gonads. Juntto had a good evening, starting a bar fight, taking a bottle of tequila, and deciding that It was good to be free again.

WOTD 06/23 Moloch goes out to the site of the fight, and ascertains about what had happened, even judging that the machines were for scientific research. But why? And what was Lilith up to now? Juntto walks into another bar, starts another fight, kills almost everyone, takes another bottle of tequilla, and escapes into an alley. Maybe the police are getting faster, or is he getting slower? Moloch hears about the bar fights on the news, and has finally found Juntto!

WOTD 06/24 THE PLAN The General calls, to talk to Pandora, who looks at pictures from security cameras showing Juntto, and Pandora identifies him correctly. No matter what he shifts into, he will always show the silver streak down the side of his hair. She tells Brushwood, “General, we will go have a talk with Juntto. I cannot stress this enough, though. You need to try your best to avoid him until we get there. He’s a wildcard, and he gives no fucks. He will fight us, and to be honest, he’s not anyone I want to mess with right now. No strike teams, no scrambling fighters. Don’t even say his name in a snooty manner. Look, there’s nothing really more to say about him at this point. Just know that he’s not the dude to fuck with. I think Katie and I can take care of it if I play it right. We need to find him, sit down with him, and figure out what he wants. If it’s something we can handle, then great—he should lay low for a while.” Finally, the general replied, “I got you, Pandora. We will follow your lead. You know this guy better than any of us, and you are part of the team.”

Katie, Calvin, Brock, Turner and the others land in Switzerland, about to take on Juntto. Pandora awoke Juntto, in the middle of the day, and greeted him with a stiff punch to the jaw. Pandora asked him, “ I have a deal for you, one that gives you a chance to really cut loose. You interested?” He was, and they sparred verbally for a while, ending in Pandora giving him coordinates to a meeting place. Juntto went to sleep, thinking, ““Lucifer can suck it. That bitch will be mine.”
